Herb Bailey Scholarship Award Program
The San Antonio Bowling Senate of The National Bowling Association, Inc. offers scholarships of up to $3,000 annually to high school students who are family members of San Antonio Senate bowlers and Junior TNBA members. The scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance for pursuing higher education at an accredited college or university. Recipients must use the scholarship towards their educational expenses such as tuition, books, and fees.
Qualifying Criteria
To qualify for the Herb Bailey Scholarship Award offered by the San Antonio Senate, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

Must be a current member of the TNBA Junior Bowler Program or sponsored by a family member who is a current member of the San Antonio Bowling Senate

Must be a college bound graduating senior from high school

Must have a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale

Must include at least two references with the application. References should include at at least one school official.References from RELATIVES are NOT allowed

Must provide a 250 word or more essay on the following question. “What are your future plans and why do you think you should receive this scholarship award?” (essay should be computer generated, typed or printed neatly)
